This workshop will look at the past history and present status of raptors (birds of prey) where they might be seen and how to recognize them.
The raptors or ‘birds of prey' are one of the most charismatic and exciting groups of birds. Ten species have bred in recent years in Norfolk, with another four regular winter visitors and another 3 scarce but regular migrants, it is an exciting county to see these birds. This workshop will look at the past history and present status of these birds, where they might be seen and how to recognize them. At Cley Marshes at this time of the season we are likely to see a range of these birds including – we would hope- Marsh Harriers entertaining with 'sky-dancing'
Price: £25 NWT members, £29 non-members (+ booking fee)
Location: Cley Marshes Visitor Centre, Coast Rd, Cley next the Sea NR25
