Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th September 2021
Sunday at 3:45pm - The Orchard
Touring as Alden & Patterson with their brilliant new album Hunter, they are heading back to Deepdale with the wonderful Noel Dashwood on dobro. Their music weaves rich vocal harmonies, fiddle, guitar and dobro around beautifully written original songs and melodies. Their music takes influence from English folk traditions with uplifting instrumentals and self-penned songs depicting tales of young travellers, sleepy seas and their affection for home.
Their independently-released debut album ‘Call Me Home’ received widespread critical acclaim and was awarded ‘Editor’s Choice Album of the Year’ by fRoots, the UK’s leading publication specialising in folk and world music.
Over the last three years the trio have made a name as one of the best new acts on the scene and have toured the UK and Europe extensively including main stage slots at the UK’s most prestigious festivals and a tour with folk legends Show of Hands.
Chris has put together the most incredible programme of live music for Deepdale Festival 2021. Amazing musical talent from the local area and nationally. Our 4th annual festival hosts an amazing array of talent and is a chilled out place to enjoy live music and great company.
As a pre cursor to the main festival, for those staying on Thursday night, we have a very special evening session in the Brick Barn. Not to be missed!
