Introduction to Green Woodworking Course

Rural crafter, Richard Rood, is joining us at Deepdale Farm on various dates through Spring into early Summer to teach green woodworking skills. This is a one day course introducing you to green woodworking.

This is a 1 day course introducing
- Properties and handling of green wood
- Getting familiar with tools, the draw knife and the pole lathe
- Make and take home a selection of objects to use at home

All tools are supplied by the instructor.
Please wear clothing suitable to work under cover but outdoors, ie multiple layers.
Please bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the barn or courtyard. Hot drinks will be provided.

Max. 4 attendees. Venue well ventilated.

No accommodation is included with this course.  We would recommend staying at Deepdale Camping & Rooms, which offer excellent self catering rooms and camping for tents, campervans & motorhomes.

The course & venue are not suitable for participants to bring their dogs or other pets.
