Rural crafter, Richard Rood, is joining us at Deepdale Farm on various dates through the Winter to teach green woodworking skills. This is a one day course introducing you to green woodworking.
- Properties and handling of green wood
- Getting familiar with tools, the draw knife and the pole lathe
- A taster day allowing attendees to make and take home a selection of objects including a dibber, spurtle, spatula, door wedge
All necessary tools are supplied by the instructor.
Please wear clothing suitable to work under cover but outdoors, ie multiple layers.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Max 4 people per course.
