Live music, dancing, food and drink to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day
On Friday 8th May (Bank Holiday) we shall be commemorating the 75th anniversary of the formal end of fighting against Nazi Germany in Europe with a VE Day Party. Between 11am and 4pm, there will be live 1940s music and dancing, refreshments, vintage games, and more. At 3pm, we will take part in “The Nation's Toast” to thank the Heroes of World War II and an air raid siren will sound. This event is completely FREE and we hope to see you there dressed in your finest 1940s fashion.
