Thursday 28th November 2019
1.30pm to 3.00pm
Edward Parnell's new book Ghostland (published by William Collins, October 2019) is his moving exploration of what has haunted Britain's writers and artists and what is haunting him.
It is a unique and elegiac meditation on grief, memory and longing, and of the redemptive power of stories and nature. In this talk he will focus on some of the eerie writers and landscapes of Norfolk and East Anglia, as well as the wildlife that is threaded throughout his book. With luck, perhaps Cley's famous ghost owl' might even decide to put in an appearance.
Price: NWT members £10.00, non members £12.00 (price incl lunch)
Location: Norfolk Wildlife Trust Cley Marshes, Coast Road. Venue is Salthouse Beach road, Cley, Norfolk, NR25 7SA
