Steve Burrows is an award-winning Canadian mystery writer, journalist, and past recipient of a “Nature Writer of the Year” award from BBC Wildlife.
His presentation will take a light-hearted look at his journey from producing non-fiction pieces as a field editor for an environmental magazine to writing award-winning murder mystery novels. Steve will also look at how both birders and non-birders have influenced this journey, and how they continue to play a part in both his worldview and his novels.
