As the North Norfolk Coast begins to move out of Covid-19 lockdown, and tourism businesses re-open, more planned events are taking place. These are just listings, so please follow links and check with organisers of events before assuming events are running.
Make a pottery wading bird using the traditional pottery technique of slipware.
After practicing some essential slipware techniques using specially prepared coloured slips, you will make some basic sketch-book observations out on the reserve. This will be followed by studio work, where you will construct and decorate your bird based on the techniques you have learnt and the visual information you have collected. The finished work will be left at the centre for drying, glazing and firing, to be collected at a later date.
