Author and conservationist Conor Mark Jameson explores the roots of his fascination with the Northern Goshawk, his quest to understand the ’phantom of the forest’ better, and our relationship with it.

The search takes him to some of the UK’s remotest forests, including his native Scotland, and some of continental Europe’s most populous cities...
