As the North Norfolk Coast begins to move out of Covid-19 lockdown, and tourism businesses re-open, more planned events are taking place. These are just listings, so please follow links and check with organisers of events before assuming events are running.
Churchyards are a fantastic place for wildlife.
The often undisturbed grassland is great for wildflowers, the veteran trees for bats and birds and the stonework for rare plants and lichens. Find out more about the importance of these special places for wildlife and about the new Caring for God’s Acre Beautiful Burial Ground project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. This will see Norfolk Wildlife Trust volunteers survey churchyards, as well as engaging school children.
