Saturday 6 May 2017
10.00am - 5.00pm
As the North Norfolk Coast begins to move out of Covid-19 lockdown, and tourism businesses re-open, more planned events are taking place. These are just listings, so please follow links and check with organisers of events before assuming events are running.
Now in it's 11th year, this community event celebrates the natural beauty and importance of the Wensum Valley in a fun and informative way, with this year's theme being "Endangered Species: Children in the Countryside".
We want to help encourage more children to enjoy the countryside and get outdoors instead of staying inside and playing on their computers, tablets or mobile phones. This year we are really excited to welcome nature enthusiast and TV personality Jess French, who will be opening the event! ONLY £3 per person - the only day of the year where we reduce the admission fee. All money raised goes back into making the following year's Wild About The Wensum event possible. There will be an additional charge of £3/pp for anyone wishing to visit Hootz House, our indoor play area. Limited spaces on the day - on a first come first served basis. You will need to register at Hootz House for your time slot as soon as you arrive at Pensthorpe - NOT at the time slot you wish to attend.
