Deepdale Conservation Weekend

A great way to spend a weekend with nature. Working the land with your own bare hands, Making new freinds and finding out what it really takes to maintian the beautiful British countryside we all know and love.
Interested in the countryside
and would like some practical experience on a working farm?
Deepdale Conservation Weekend offers you
the chance to stay on the farm, bed and breakfast provided, in exchange
for two days work (10am to 4pm).
For breakfast we will provide bread, cereals, preserves, tea, coffee and milk, to which you can help yourselves.
On Friday night we will provide a Chilli and Jacket potatoes at 8pm as a welcome dinner. (Please let us know if you have any specail dietary requirments, diabetes, vegetarian etc.)
On Saturday night we will provide a wholesome stew to fuel you into the next day! We are not a public house so if you wish to imbibe some alcohol, please bring your own.

of working as part of a conservation team for a couple of days,

You will need:
• to make your own way here Friday, and home on Sunday
• to make a packed lunch for Saturday and Sunday when you will be
working
• to be enthusiastic about the countryside
• be prepared to work outdoors and get your hands dirty!
