A few summers ago, Patrick Barkham tried to see all 59 species of British butterfly in one summer.
In this illustrated talk, he will discuss the appeal of butterflies, and the pleasure – and pain – of trying to find them all. He will also talk about how we can help these beautiful insects prosper. Patrick is Natural History Writer for the Guardian and the award-winning author of The Butterfly Isles, Badgerlands and Islander.
